You can participate by submitting your tip in any of the pages or creating a new page. By default, all the contributors will be participating.

3) What I have to do to be in "Very trustworthy" band?

Yes, if you keep contributing.

5) What is the luck factor involved in it?
Luck factor determines when you will get the reward. When you keep contributing your luck factor keep getting larger. Even if your luck deserts you, you will win a reward after certain number of contributions.
